Ceasefire Dallas 2026

The Ceasefire Gun Violence Awareness Initiative is a community movement created to confront the pain of gun violence with awareness, action, healing, and hope. It is designed to bring together families, mothers, youth, survivors, faith leaders, community organizations, service providers, and concerned citizens who are committed to seeing our neighborhoods become safer, stronger, and more united.

Gun violence has taken too many lives, broken too many families, and left too many communities grieving in silence. Behind every statistic is a name, a story, a mother, a child, and a family forever changed. Ceasefire exists to honor those lives, amplify the voices of those impacted, and create a space where healing and solutions can begin.

This initiative will raise awareness about the devastating effects of gun violence while connecting individuals and families to resources they need most, including grief support, trauma recovery services, counseling resources, youth mentoring, conflict resolution programs, community…
